When capturing requirements for a new IT system, three Swedish county councils joined forces to take a service design approach, and let user insights lead the way in specifying technical requirements. Ocean had a leading part in planning and facilitating co-creative workshops where healthcare staff and patients collaborated to map challenges and needs in 10 different patient journeys. Mapping the journeys led to insights that inspired a vision for the future IT system, and informed technical requirements.
