Using insights from design research to create a service for proactive healthcare.
As part of the initiative 4D Hjärtsvikt, Ocean was engaged to conduct design research to provide a better understanding of the experience of patients suffering from congestive heart failure (CHF). Through in-depth interviews with patients and care providers we collected insights around the care process and the patient experience. Insights from the design research led to the development of a screening service where patients are guided to a specialist for correct diagnosis when symptoms indicate they might be suffering from CHF.
