Atopic eczema or Atopic Dermatitis, is a very common condition, but few are aware of how serious it can become for some people. For those with the most severe form, immunosuppressive therapy may be an option.
Sanofi, a pharmaceutical company, gave Ocean the task to research what life is like with severe eczema and identify opportunities for better supporting patients. Based on in-depth interviews and workshops with patients and caregivers, Ocean gathered insights and recommendations in a patient journey map. The map has been used by Sanofi to spread awareness in-house and as a tool in business strategy.
